Feeding Bailey

I knew that today would be another adventure with Bailey when he signaled that he wanted his breakfast NOW by sitting on his rump and waving his front paws in the air in a digging motion. With his plate of tuna in front of him, Bailey made his usual growl at it and started eating. While i was delivering a plate of food for my 19 year old Bengal, Spanky, i noticed that Bailey had moved counterclockwise 180 degrees to continue eating his food. Returning from placing Kayley's dish of dry food down, I noticed that Bailey had rotated another 45 degrees and soon had completed his first loop of his cat dish. Not sure if it is was a Bengal lazy Susan move or whether he is Magellan d' Bailey now.

For dinner, chicken was cut for the gang and Bailey had moved away from his favorite eating spot, so i walked with his plate of chicken in-hand while calling for him. He was not at his second meal spot and before i reached the third one, i heard a faint REE from him. He was following me! Of course, nosy Kayley was watching our performances with Spanky.

Feeding Bengals is always an adventure!

Raiden will also move around the bowl to eat. Weird!

Spanky and Bailey each were feed a plate of chicken but each KNEW that the other had the BETTER chicken, so they moved to each other's dish and found out that it was true! Kayley was not impressed with the boys culinary skills and did NOT share her food. The boys did the same with their tuna chaser plates, though neither was about to share their respective Reddiwhip dollops.

My two will switch bowls, too, thinking the other cat got the better food! They eat the same food, so not a big deal, except to them. LOL

Bailey came in STARVING from the backyard and OHREE'd for food now. While i prepared his tuna (Meow Mix), Bailey was seated on his rump waving his front paws in the air and for the first time, licking his chops. Pavlov had a Bengal! I was never told.

Re: diggin at the bowl. Your cat is being a food critic. He's saying that his food is indistinguishable from the stuff in his litterbox, i.e., it tastes/smells like S**t :rofl:
