Bailey, my 1 year old Bengal was checking out the flowers for insects when a grass hopper jumped near him and in his chase for it, his rear right leg caught a potato vine and harvested the potato early. Last week, he was doing the same in the tall flowers with his sister, Grand Inquisitor Kayley watching his tail waving in the flowers. Unbeknowst to Bailey, his motion caused a praying mantis to jump and land on the Grand Inquisitor's back. That was its last leap but as Bailey kept wandering in the flower bed, another praying mantis leaped out and Kayley got her second one.

Watching the performance was my 19 year old Bengal, Spanky in his catnip and Purple Fountain Grass patch.
