Hi there
When my two boys reached the age of two, despite being litter buddies we had issues with Jagger bullying and chasing Hendrix. Our house turned into a war zone.
Your female is probably losing confidence now. I did contact a behaviourist who specialises in bengals. I was advised to put Hendrix on Zylkene (a milk protein, totally natural but helps to calm them down). I ended up giving it to both as Jagger was so blatantly aggravating Hendrix and wanted to calm him down a bit too. I kept the Zylkene up for a good few weeks to ensure once things were better, that the behaviour continued and then gradually weaned them off.
I was told to face Jagger when he was bullying and attacking Hendrix and push him away and tell him no very firmly. It takes time to take effect but it does work. Definitely no water bottles! Be totally consistent or you will give mixed messages.
Add more resources where you can. Sounds like another litter tray elsewhere would be a good idea if your Bengal is guarding it and trying to stop the female using it. Also places your girl can go to and not be bothered by your Bengal boy with easy escape routes etc.
Friends Feliway will work when things are calmer but won't work on its own. I still have it plugged in when things get fraught! You need your girl to get her confidence back and bring your Bengal down a peg or two before it will take effect.
We do still get the occasional squabble and I now have a 'Correction Spray' that is usually used to stop dogs barking but can be used for other animals and behaviour issues. You can find it on Amazon or at pet shops. It sounds like a very loud, sharp hiss, so you shouldn't use it too close to cats as it can damage their ears, and I wouldn't use it while your girl is stressed either, but it does really work. I only use it as a last resort and I stand well back from them, one squirt and they scatter and the fighting stops. I hold it up to my face as well so they think I am hissing at them and they think I'm doing a mummy cat telling off
I've had this for a few months, and I think I've had to use it about six times and there are 50 sprays in a can.
I hope you find a solution as I know how stressful this can be!
