Hey guys. I have two male Bengal kittens aged 10 months old. In the last few weeks they have become so food orientated that it seems this is all they think about. When I feed them they make so much noise and are jumping up and scratching at anything they can get at trying to get to the food. Has anyone experienced this before and if so how did you overcome it? It's that bad that they are ripping up the carpet trying to get into the room where their food is stored!!! We feed them 3 times per day. We give them supper just before we go to bed but at around 9 they are sat at the top of the stairs waiting to be fed and cry every now and again when they realise your not moving to feed them!!! I've never know anything like it before. Please help!

Welcome to our forum. Your kitties are going through a growth spurt. Kittens need to eat more than three times a day. More like 5 to 6. You should not be limiting their food. Bengal cats don't stop growing until they are about 18 months old. I think your kitties are hungry. Give them less food but more often. Cats are really good at not over eating. I'm sure your babies are healthy, but give them at least one more meal a day and see if that helps.
