Dolly does that but Daisy and Lily don't. My lower legs are covered in scratches. I try not to react in case moving away makes her think it's a game but I think it just makes her think I'm a nice, stable tree trunk.

My moggy does it too... If our bengal ever puts her paws on my legs like that, it's more in warning that she's about to jump and I need to catch her =)

when Olly was smaller he used to climb up my mom like a cat tree was funny to hear her yell in pain, better her then me.

Wally does it a bit when he comes to get us when we wake up in the morning.
He "pretends" scratsh and bite my leg, I think it's his way of showing he wants to play, he looks affronted when I tell him to stop, but stops as soon as you get to his toys, so maybe it's worth trying that! On the other hand I don't want him to think that if he does that he gets to play straight away!! Ah, he is far to clever for me : )
