Your little guy is really good. Olly only plays when he wants too.. And when he does he wont play for very long...

Saffy plays fetch, on her terms. She also likes to play 'catch' the toy where she sits on top of the sofa and myself and the OH throw the toy to each other from each side..
We're trying to teach William to play fetch, too, but he just won't let go of the object when he gets near you.

Bengals are the only cats i've known who play like this.

I know a moggie who plays like this , and on a cat forum, quite a few cats do, moggies, Abyssinians...

Sarny is a wonderful "fetcher"! He is a beatiful boy!

Both of my "mutt cats" (moggies) fetch. I had a cat about 20 years ago that did too. I started them off by wadding up a piece of paper and playing with them with it. They just eventually started bringing it back. I think it is easy for them to pick up and carry when they are little. They then went on to the little fuzzy mice toys. Samuel, my male moggy, actually brought me my slipper downstairs one morning. I told him I would need the other one, and about five minutes later, he brought it! I know it was just a fluke that he did it, but it was quite funny!

I will have to start working with Jupiter (my Bengal) on the whole fetching thing. Hopefully the other cats will help with the process.
