I thought bengals were not suppose to be lap cats. Well nobody told Confetti this. He is a lap cat 95% of the time when he is sleeping or just wanting some quiet time he crawls on a lap or someone's stomach and even on our backs to hang out at night. Don't get me wrong we love it...but still surprising since we were not quite expecting it from different things we read about bengals. Grant it we were told he was very laid back compared to the rest of his litter.

rhiannon, it's a shame your ollie doesn't like to give you cuddles, i suppose like all breeds of cats, there are that those like to & those that don't. after all they each have a unique personality.

Mikesch will jump on my lap to cuddle and purr like mad but never for too long. I guess his attention span for doing just one thing is way too short for long cuddle sessions. It usually isn't long before he'll either start trying to wrestle with my hands or move on to someplace more exciting than my lap.

Both Indiana and Moshi like cuddles and laying on my lap usually two at a time. So far I've found Bengals very affectionate and loving.

Jake hates being cuddled. He looks at you with his big eyes as though to say "Take your hands off me, i don't do cuddles." lol

None of my three sit on my lap but I think it's because when they want to snuggle up, they do it together. They do come up and ask to be stroked though and they've recently started sleeping on my bed, but down by my feet.

Oska's a lap cat you only have to sit still for 5 mins and before you know it he's asleep on you. Out of our other cats Karmann one of our black cats is a real attention seeker.

If Oska is on my knee and i'm stroking him she'll sit next to me and put her head between my hand and Oska
