Most litters will say "scented" or "unscented" on the package. Or "fragrance free" Something like that. Does the Litter Robot recommend a specific type of litter? It should say somewhere.

I was asking to see if anyone has had success with one brand over another... so if anyone has the open air LR, what litter works best for you??

The litter robot has their own brand of litter that I am not interested in. I know what's out there as far as natural/clay/unscented etc. I also had the older version of the Litter Robot for my previous cats.

What did you use in the previous Litter Robot? I'm guessing any type of litter will work okay. I don't know that any member here is using one, but I hope if they are, they post.

I used the tidy cats instant action but the perfume smell was too much. So I was hoping someone used a litter that was scent free but actually worked!!! I know it has to be small granules and clumping.. & I'd like to try worlds best.. so does anyone use it?

Hmm, I've been thinking of changing to the Tidy Cats Instant Action. Maybe not! It might smell great to me, bu a cat's smell is 14 times stronger than ours and it would probably turn my bengal off.
