My DSH has been finding chipmunks and plays with them and then tries to eat them. I picked one up out of the yard yesterday and I try to make sure when he wants to come in the house, his mouth is empty! The bengal can only catch things that come into his enclosure. We do have a bird feeder right outside of it, so we see birds inside the enclosure all the time. Unless they land on the floor, Raiden isn't able to get to them. But how on earth these other creatures get through 1" squares, i will never know.

Both the DSH and bengal love to chase prey, but Raiden prefers that he bring them inside our house from his enclosure so we get to deal with them ALIVE. The DSH just loves to chase them. We watched him bat a mouse up in the air for minutes before he ate the whole thing. I could not get to him before it was devoured.
