I'm just curious. I plan on keeping my cat indoors (getting my new kitty friday), and if he does go out it will be on a leash once trained. However , I live on a lake and enjoy going out on my boat, and was wondering if i ever took him with me if he'd be ok if he decided to jump in. I know Bengals like water but not sure about deep water. Hopefully it never happens.

Yea, I wouldn't think of dropping him in, I was thinking in terms of an accident. Would he just sink to the bottom. Of course I'd scoop him out if he accidentlt fell in.
The tub looks like a good test.

There are YouTube videos of cats swimming and I've seen one of a bengal in a swimming pool. I don't know it's their favorite outdoor activity and many probably don't like it. Mine will walk through puddles in the road but has never been in the tub or shower when there is water running. He doesn't mind walking in the rain most of the time. I think they tolerate water better than your DSH, but I wouldn't toss a bengal in the lake and see if he sinks or swims. They aren't fish.
