We desperately need to find a home for Dakota. She is a wonderful, mature, 15 year-old cat we agreed to take in after her original owners decided to maintain a cat-free home upon the arrival of their first child. We love our kittie-girl, but she is simply not happy in our multi-cat household. (We also have a very mellow, fat tabby and two large Maine Coon cats.) One of the Maine coons is very intimidating, and although they now usually maintain their distance, the friction has caused Dakota much stress and she just can't be comfortable here. This has resulted in alot of pacing, howling, and almost daily problems with her bathroom habits. These are all issues she never before experienced in her first home, and it's not fair to this wonderful cat. We are in the Brattleboro, VT area, and would be willing to travel somewhat to meet the right potential person halfway. We really hope to find her a permanent, loving home. Thanks.
