I finally named my bengals!

Ghost, the boy, is apparently the mythical beastie of bengals - a lap cat. He is skittish, though. For example, he was trying to jump onto my lap while I was sitting in a higher chair, and he wasn't quite making it. So I tried to help him up. This resulted in him getting a panicky look on his face and fleeing as if I was a cat-eating monster. He forgets all fear when the toys come out, though.

Pakhette (named after the Egyptian cat goddess of hunting, Pakhet), on the other hand, is a more typical bengal. She is all about hunting, especially the chase. She's extremely bold and independent. She loves being up high. Occasionally she will lie down next me for a moment or two before continuing on to play.

Aww, just too adorable. Are these going to be their registered pedigreed names?

Thanks!

Good to see there's another Doctor Who fan here. A friend had the TARDIS made for me... it's one of my favorite things.

That is not going to be their registered names, just what I call them. I think that I've got Pakhette's registered name figured out, but I'm still trying to figure out one for Ghost. Can there be apostrophes in registered names?

Re TICA registered names, I believe the blue slip states punctuation is not permitted. It is on the copy I have from Raiden's blue slip. If you are registering through another registration entity, you would have to check. I known Europe, they do have apostrophes in some of the names, but I am not sure they show up on the registrations. In TICA, they simply put the "s" without the apostrophe.

For example, SierraGold Its Vegas Baby has no apostrophe although the "It's" should have one. So, you can use the "s" without the apostrophe. I happened to see that one on the certified TICA pedigree sitting next to my computer.

Once you get them registered, I would love to add the to my database. I just passed 75,000 records yesterday.

Thanks, I'll keep that in mind! And I'll definitely let you know when I get them registered so you can add them!
