Doesn't 90% or so of the Bengal breeders and owners prefer the large flashy rosettes?
It's the feeling I've got.
My main focus is on what I thinkt make the bengal look wild. It's the wild illuzion in a domestic that makes me love the bengal so much. Sooo....
my main focus are BLACK spots that never fades, light backgrounds, pattern FLOW, spotted legs, a good type which means small ears, good structure, good head in frontal view (profile is not that important to me at the moment as it is easier to get in place later), strong chin, think tail, wild movements. Then I want the white tummie, clear coats and last I want the rosettes. But the pawprints kind in strong horizontal or diagonal flow, not the big pancakes in a bull's eye flow that is so common (and flashy). In 15-20 years time I hope to be close to my ideal Bengal on a rather regular basis. Looking forward to my first "near perfect" kitten getting born sometime in the future
